Christiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Andres Iniesta have been announced as the three final contenders for the FIFA Ballon d’Or best player of 2012. The names were released in a press conference held at the Anhembi Convention Center in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The press conference was attended by FIFA President Joseph Blatter, FIFA Secretary General Jermoe Valcke Moriniere. Brazilian footballers Ronaldo and Marta were also present. The candidate for the FIFA World Coach of the year for Men’s Football are Spain’s head coach Vicente del Bosque, ex Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola and Portugal’s Jose Mourinlio while Bruno Bini (France), Norio Sasaki (Japan) and Pia Sundhage (USA) are the Women’s Coach of the year contenders. The awards will be presented at the FIFA Ballon d’Or Gala which will be held at the Kongresshaus in Zurich on 7th January next year. Who’s gonna bag this one??
