I'm Grateful My Cancer Is Gone- Vast Of Bracket

“I’m grateful the cancer was an early discovery, even though it should have been earlier than when it was discovered. It actually took more than 3 months for Nigerian doctors to discover I had cancer after taking several pain-killers and medicine for headache; we had to fly to London for treatment after it was discovered. We spent a whole lot of money, but we thank God for Life.

My greatest weapon is God and then training. I train a lot even when I was sick. I discovered that it is one of the biggest weapons to fight sickness.

One thing about Cancer is once discovered on time, with the right medication, it will be cured forever. I’m healthy now and there is no more trace of cancer in my blood again.”

We really thank God for his life.

Mo' Abudu Launches N2B TV Channel

Talk Show host and TV Producer Mosunmola Abudu, aka Mo Abudu, popularly known for her talk show ‘Moments With Mo’ will, at the end of this month, launch a new cable channel that will air across Africa.

The channel, EbonyLife TV, Africa’s first global black entertainment network, will broadcast all of its programming to over 46 African countries via the DSTV platform, and globally through key TV Channels in the UK, the United States, Brazil, Canada and other parts of Europe.

Speaking through a media release, Ms. Abudu said, ‘the Western media has sold us the best of the West, even Asia has joined that race; it is time to not only sell Africa to the world but to ourselves. And we are now in a position to take indigenous African brands to the rest of the world, giving everyone the best of both worlds – it doesn’t get any better.’ A source said the whole project has cost over N2 billion.

Security guard hangs self in Ogun

A 67-year-old night guard, Matthew Isidahume, on Monday in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital, committed suicide by hanging himself inside a church.

Isidahmue was said to be one of the night guards employed by the Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Ago-Ika in Abeokuta North Local Government Area.

Our correspondent gathered that members of the church, who had converged for the Morning Prayer session, discovered the corpse of the deceased dangling where he had hanged himself.

A member of the Church Council, Adekunle Adegoke, said members who came for the Morning Prayer meeting, met the gate locked and had to wait for about 30 minutes thinking the late Isidahume had gone to the toilet.

Adegoke added that when the guard was still nowhere to be found, a young boy was lifted across the fence to find out what had really happened to him.

He further explained that the boy later returned and gave them the sad news that the night guard had hanged himself.

“If you look closely you will see his footprints on the generator which showed that he climbed, tied something on his neck and then jumped,” he said.

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Muyiwa Adejobi, said three of the night guards were supposed to be on duty as of the time the incident happened.

Adejobi, a deputy superintendent of police, further stated that the deceased left a suicide note which was now assisting the police in their investigation. He added that the command would do a thorough job in order to get to the root of the matter.
