The Copa Lagos 2012 which is being sponsored by FCMB begins on 14 December and will include a mixture of beach soccer, concerts, parties and a fashion show over a three-day period. Speaking about the concert, Wizkid said, “I am definitely looking forward to Copa this year because from my experience last year, definitely this year is going to be bigger and much much better. I am really, really looking forward to performing in front of my fans”. Other performers on the opening day include Eva, Ajebutter, solidstar, shaydee and others. Defending champion Nigeria will take on Lebanon, Argentina and six-time European champions Portugal.
