So it turns out Pique was only following Spanish tradition of Day of the Innocents which is Spain’s equivalent to April Fools Day. After his earlier tweet which stated that their son had been born, he took to Twitter again to confirm that Shakira was still pregnant. “Ya tiene nombre! Se llama Inocencio! Feliz dia de los Inocentes a todos”. It translates to “ He has a name! His name is Innocent! Happy April Fools Day to all”.
