Police were called after a man cut off his manhood in public.
A 43-year-old man came running out of his house in England, with no clothing, and holding a kitchen knife.
People reportedly stopped to see if they can help the naked man who seemed to be distraught, but to their utter disbelief, the naked man chopped off his manhood in the street, in front of the onlookers with the kitchen knife he was holding. After cutting himself, the man ran back into his house.
When police arrived, they found the distraught man in his house. “Officers gained entry and found it necessary to restrain the man in order to perform first aid on him,” police said.
“This is very sad. The man must have been in great distress which caused his to go to such an extreme.
Hopefully, the doctors can reattach it so he can live a normal life and get the help he desperately needs,” Frances Wallace, 62, of London, England, told YourJewishNews.com after learning about the incident.
The man, of Penryn, Cornwall, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries that were not life-threatening. He will be evaluated as he is believed to have mental health problems.
